ROBERT BURDEN


Born in Philadelphia, Robert started dancing at the age of 10 with Gwendolyn Bye Dance Center, training in Ballet, Tap, African, Graham, Horton, Jazz, Dunham, and other contemporary styles.
He continued his studies at The Creative And Performing Arts High School as a dance major. He performed with Brian Sanders “JUNK Snowball” 2015. Within Robert’s time At CAPA he was part of the CAPA dance company, Eleone, JOVO Dance and Gwen Bye dance company Fusion 2. He graduated University of the Arts (UArts) receiving a BFA in dance. While at UArts he trained under Mark Caserta, Kyle & Danita Clark, Wayne St. David, Tommie Waheed Evans, Kareem Goodwin, Shaylah-vie Jenkins, Gary Jeter, Ndiaye Kaolack, Shawn Lamere Williams, Donald Langsford, Michael Sheridan, Uwazi Zamani, and Jesse Zaritt. He is a former member of Kung Yung Lin Dance Company. Robert is currently a freelance artist.

Robert has performed in the following Dance Del Bello Rep: Cinderella (Ballroom Cavalier), Coppelia (Franz’s Friend) & A Christmas Carol (Ghost of Jacob Marley, Ignorance & Mr. Fezziwig).
