CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH PROGRAMS
The Pennsylvania Dance Institute does more than train dancers - It cultivates artists.
Since 1991, Dance Del Bello has partnered with Pennsylvania Dance Institute to present the ballet A Christmas Carol by acclaimed choreographer, David Kloss. Each December, dedicated Pennsylvania Dance Institute students' who have reached the necessary technical and artistic maturity are invited to perform in this captivating interpretation of the Dickens’ classic.
In the spring, all students enrolled in the ballet program have the opportunity to perform in a full-length or excerpted work from Dance Del Bello’s repertoire. Past performances have included Beauty and the Beast, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Coppelia, The Sleeping Beauty, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The Pennsylvania Dance Institute offers dance classes from 4 to Pre-Professional
2026-2027 Year-Round Program:
Fall/Winter:
Early Registration: July 27th - July 30th!
Fall Registration: Aug. 1st - Aug. 31st, Registration Fee $35
Late Registration, After September 1st, depending on class size.
*Invited students must be registered by September 6th to perform in November.
Classes Begin Monday, September 14th
Winter/Spring: January-May/June
Classes resume January 4th, 2027 - June 5th 2027
Theatre Week: June 2027
Spring Performances:
PERFORMANCE
Registered student’s who meet all attendance requirements are invited to perform in Dance Del Bello’s Productions:
A Christmas Carol, the Ballet - November 14th & 15th, By audition or invitation
TBA Spring Repertoire - June 2027, all (most) students are eligible to perform.

APPRENTICES & STUDENT COMPANY
Dance Del Bello offers pre-professional performing opportunities.
At the recommendation of artistic staff, technically proficient students who are committed to class work and rehearsals may have the opportunity to join the company as an Apprentice or Jr. Apprentice.
WORKSHOPS & INTENSIVES
Participating in the summer dance class programs is one of the best ways for you or your child to level up, improve skills, train with expert teaching artists and enjoy the freedom of movement without the pressures of the academic year.

ADULT PROGRAMS
Led by Dance Del Bello artists. The Pennsylvania Dance Institute offers Adult (Basic Beginning) Ballet classes and other programming to help develop or deepen an appreciation for the art of dance, especially classical ballet.
